In consultation with our jury chairman and artistic director of our competition, I would like to reply to your e-mail.
- To enter into the second round we planned around 50% from candidates which played in first round. That means from 40 invited candidates could have reached into second round theoretically 20 participants (as maximum). There were only 28 candidates arrived, so the number was logically reduced. Finally 15 candidates received a majority vote. So this 15 went into the second round.
- It’s not right that five participants from Weimar reached the 2nd round. There were four candidates from our university who reached the second round, they also got this majority vote, the fifth candidate from Weimar not.
- Fortunately or unfortunately in art performance is assessed very differently. That’s why we chose an international und broadly based Jury to keep the differences in balance. It’s your right to disagree. BUT, it’s inacceptable that you discredit the jury. There is no further comment. We reserve the right to take legal action.
- We would like to inform you about your planned publication of your private video is UNLAWFUL. Please inform yourself about “European Publication Law”. In case of infringement we would have to take legal actions against it.
