Amazing! Such a beautiful work. I never would have expected it to work on the piano, but it clearly does. I didn’t really miss the harp at all.

Thanks very much!! Ravel made a two-piano version that gave me the idea since it seemed like I could play most of it by myself. His friend, Lucien Garban, made a solo version, too, but it was a little underwhelming for my taste. In the end, I studied the original full score and the two different versions for piano(s) and then experimented a whole bunch! I rewrote the ending at least five times… Hahaha
