like all similar comparisons, really can’t be done, buttttttt…

Chopin was much much more innovative when it comes to form, one could even say that his merging of italian aria-like writing with piano music was more innovative than scriabin’s harmonic innovations, since scriabin’s harmonic innovations were something that was really ‘in the air’ at the time… (of course the specific way in which he did it was fairly unique, but really just an early 20th c development of innovations that had already been happening in russia for a good 30-40 years prior)

as for who I like better, SCRIB haha, but both so damn good, why chooze?

I think people overemphasize Da Chop influence on da Scrib…sure maybe a few early pieces…same with say Prok Son 1. Later on I see more influences from Wagner and his contemps.

Zum people overephazize it…

But look at hiz early polonaize, preludez, mazurkaz, waltzez

all haf hiz unique voice forming, pluz zum Liadov influence mixed in, but a huge debt iz owed to da Chop, ezpecially late Chop circa Barcarolle
