Weirdly it sounds passable on the tube too. Most stuff gets funky with their compression unless its super processed.

Yeah its from the early melodya reissue of that famous eurodisc set. I had the eurodisc but I melted it!
Will clean the record a bit more and see what turns out.

Now that I got a good transfer down going to experiment with some chemicals on the surface that might damage the record or make it sound mind blowing

I got a REALLY good take of prelude 4 after some time in my ultrasonic machine. Posting… will pick up tomorrow with the rest if they are in good shape.
You’ll see that tine bump at 13.6 I’ve been noodling on… its down to a few DB but was at 8 and looked like a neon light up there before.

That above has is super light declick a roll off below 25hz and a snip at around 30khz where most stuff is stylus noise. No EQ or mastering filters. Also no denoise!! Is why the overtones aint smeared up
