It isn’t that uncommon for pianists to record their own material then shop it to a label.
This was the case with VBM’s first CD on Brilliant Classics, Orozco’s Iberia and the Fiorentino series recorded by EL for example.
Since I don’t know Italian, can you maybe tell me/us what happened at the end? Those mentioned recordings are not his own?
