I see people everywhere making excuses for his fucking shitty travesty playing… people who would also happily lambast far better playing just because a pianist somehow “doesn’t fit”. It’s embarrassing.

He still is in slower pieces. No one plays with his range of colour and sense of… I don’t know what to call it, it’s a kind of inevitability in slower movements.
The Chopin op. 45 prelude was unbelievable. Le Gibet was pretty special too. Everything else not so much
