Which is the best set overall

  • DA AROUSAL
  • DA BEAR
  • DA WHALE

All three have complete technical control. I think that da Arousal is the undisputed king of moisture, and the Bear’s are still slightly more exciting than da Whale’s legendary 1996 recording. But whose set is best?

Honourable mentions to:

Ziff - GENIUS edits throughout the set (Mazeppa trill!!), although slightly disappointing technically from the Liszt expert
da RECTUM - Fastest TE’s on record, "my cck is biggah than yours style, albeit a bit sheeyat m*sicality

PS; i voted for Arrau.

Berman will always be da god of Liszt.

Richter, Berezovsky, Berman, and probably about 10 other pianists could play the TE’s faster than Arrau, but not ONE of them could play them as movingly as Arrau.

So Arrau’s are best.
