interp is a bit ‘green’ (as it not quite there yet) but you managed to hit the notes and play musically, which is impressive in itself. If I tried it there’d be major battling as well as split and missed notes all over the shop. Overall I think its good. How long did it take you to get to this level?

oh i love this sonata! you’re on a good way! AAAAh fury. As much as pozz foh da lazt mvt! you have da tech, go ahead!

I only listened to parts of it, and it is very good :ziff:

-da Meph

thanks.

hey, a bit dry, but that has something to do with acoustics I’m sure.

Very good work, and good voicing in the left hand (incredibly important in Chopin) though a few notes were lost, nothing too noticable.

Do you practice it often with the metranome? It almost sounds like you beat mark too much. Try to let it all flow together more (i know - easier said than done)

More phrasing and you’re well on your way

good job keeping the bass notes as a line. This can also make or break Chopin.

My main critique would be that it sounds too dry and needs to flow more, and that contrary to what you think, it is a bit slow in comparisson to the better recs (but not by much, enough so that it makes every note sound separate from the rest = dryness) Schnabel - “its the space in between notes that I’m good at”

yeah I don’t like the general sound of it at all. it was done in a studio and I’m guessing he didn’t mess with the reverb much. but yeah, the sound is pretty boring.

pozz u zhud azk william aide about diz. he knowz a lot about da CHOP, dun u think, araeth? 8)

or randomly take da maztahklazz w/ john bell young.

:dong:

it’s very good!
but I think your last mvmt needs some more fury, it’s too metronomical sometimes, I think, …
Or maybe you can play it slightly faster, if possible.
Also some more dynamics, maybe…

but overall: great!
