With great anticipation I recently ordered two CDs of music by Kaikhosru Sorabji, his piano sonata #1 performed by Hamelin, and The Perfumed Garden with Yonty
Solomon. I picked both up today, and noted they were only $12
instead of the usual $18 for Altarus CDs. When I got them home I
discovered why. The sonata CD is all of 22 minutes long, and
Perfumed Garden is 26 minutes. This is an outrage! Hamelin has
a huge repertoire, and I cannot believe that they couldn’t have
put something else on that album.

outlets and they have always had the “warning” stickers on the jewel
