For some reason, da Ziff is underrated.
He once mentioned in the video that most ppl think I only play Liszt and Liszt, and me think it’s kinda sad that most ppl view da Ziff dat way. They ignore his pianistic ability and thus those ppl think da Ziff can’t play other composers’ music as good as Liszt’s.
The true gems of da Ziff are yet to be discovered.
I hope people will dig up more of his improvisation and transcription recording.

Hahahhahah, I might question da Rectum’s abilities now. I heard an absolutely sheeyat recording of his of Wilde Jagd. DAyum, it’s like 5:20 (less than 5:00 is standard) and he hits 10% of the notes wrong. I bet its one of dose sheeyat recorrdings he did when he was an old fart.

Gorowitz, Rectum, Rubinstein, Arrau decreased their playing’s speed as they get older. Rubinstein’s Chop 10-4 is like 2.20 mins. Dayum long, but da Ziff never slowed down. Dat’s y me admire him alot.
