Takemitsu is just leagues beyond most of these other composersโฆ the Unsuk Chin etudes are nice, like โpretty Ligetiโโฆ there are lots of decent modern composers unknown outside their home countries.
Akira Nishimura has some nice piano music as well, and Dai Fujikura has several good piano pieces
