New scam coming together in my brain.
In the US we head fake peace deals constantly to prevent anti war sentiment to build at home. I foresee this sooner than usual cuz this war super unpopular, at which point crude de-risks temporarily and prices drop.
At open going to see if any puts on Occidental petrolueum or those biznatches look good. Too volatile to short and not sure of fake out window tho if i guess.. Mission Accomplished banner any day now lol.

When I feel we are gonna fake a peace talk / peace deal (usually when news cycle bad) I’ll probably dip my toe in SCO or some crude oil short instrument for a hot second. Occidental and the others I don’t understand enough to risk.
Same play could apply to word we are going to extort Venezuela / subsidize their refining, and/or dump our strategic reserve to artificially lower prices. Also cuz they pissed off Saudis maybe they squirt more oil on our faces. Lots of ways to see it.
