Favourite key signatures to hear/play in?

Which key signatures fit like a glove to you and which are frustratingly fucked for your fingers?

Also do you hear a difference between keys and have particular favourites to hear?

Lots of flats.

I decided years ago that my fastest arpeggio was F/Eb/Db/Bb/G descending.

I think I can manage a whole 4 npz there when in WIM mode :sunglasses:

It’s hard to know which ones have it and which don’t, unless there is some documentation. There’s also levels of absolute pitch.

The only dude I remember being impressed didn’t have perfect pitch was Gunnar Johansen because he covered such an insane amount of rep. That shit all finer patterns and analysis - holy god!

Is that how you hear it?

I hear differences in keys but the point of each new/different piece of music is to express something…new/different! so there may be some commonalities but each piece can defy it as much as conform to it.

I like C-flat

G-flat minor on a page turn when you’re sight-reading is always fun :sunglasses:
