They are quite good - definitely among the best.
dis guy is really good…he went sdc on da 3rd movement…crazy speed…but he had control the whole time…i had forgotten how very cool this concerto is
I went to go meet him at the intermission with my french neighbour who won some back stage shit…but da last time I spoke any french was in grade 12…so basically I understood “tres bon”/“excellente”/etc…and I shook his hand and said aurevoir…but dat was all…haha sorta lame
I saw him play it on TV a while ago, it didn’t strike me as special, it was just very decent. And yeah, very controlled

if it helps , da zpidah iz makin a recital and a chit chat with people in Montreal soo … check it if u iz in pozzibility to go because its da only visit in north america till now from what i know to happen in 2006… but who knows
