Guess the pianist(Schubert recording)

Here is a recording of the Scherzo movement of Schubert’s Sonata D. 960(i.e the 3rd mvt).

Can any of you guess the pianist?

:g:

Pretty clean for that speed. Donno who it is though.

What about a guess? Did you like for instance?

I prefer Richter / Fischer / Schnabel interp by about a mile. Exciting playing though. I would guess it was Argerich.

Argerich has never played this work, to the best of my knowledge…

So who do you think is playing?

Any more guesses? iamcanadian?

Will tell the answer soon :stop:

da peniz iz non othah da da :doc: himself :whale:

I didn’t see this topic…

I’ve heard the Hamelin D960 before. It’s very clean and very warm. I have no problems with it.

Agree. Just what I acceptet. but like jake said people like Richter and Annie Fischer have what it takes to take it to a new level.

da jake second post in diz thread almost dizguztingly…pro :doc: . jake, please edit this sheeyat

Schubert is a great composer for Hamelin, with his incredibly polished sense for voicing- a great performance of this sonata has to sing, right?
