Another Chopin competition? Ugh, kill me.
Although, I really do think Chopin wrote his music for the pianos of his time (unlike say Liszt). Edna Stern recorded a Chopin disc on an 1860s Pleyel and it gave me some new insights into Chopin’s music. For study purposes it could be useful.
