I just wanted to ask members here, if they know of a complete recording of the Rachmaninov cello sonata with Mstislav Rostropovich and Vladimir Horowitz?
Apparently there exists a Melodiya LP with the whole sonata with these two giants. Anyone know???

Well, apparently it does. And, apparently, how Horowitz plays the first movement is incrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrredible.
That’s what I’ve been told, which is also y I asked if anyone know about the existence of this recording.
There is no recording of this known to exist
Apparently Melodiya released it on LP. Rostropovich himself told this to a friend of mine a while back.
