Re-up: My first upload in da Classical music forum - Octet

I always wish I’d been a chamber violinist/cellist/violist instead.

Simply put, I wish I’d die and go to Marlboro. No matter how many gensui recordings of the Mendy Octet they put out on the market, I’d still treasure this recording as though I gave birth to it.

What do you mean why? Its Casals, its Jaime Laredo, Alexander Schneider, Arnold Steinhardt, John Dalley on violins; Michael Tree, Samuel Rhodes on violas; Leslie Parnas, David Soyer on cellos - all of the original Guarneri Quartet members

Respect. I’ve been meaning to get into this piece for years now.

fixed it; silly me.

rezpec I’m listening to it now, well the italian symph anyway

ur upload zpeed is :ziff:

nah got it off the ftp, apparently the first upload was good but the link was bad. randomly. Btw I like this Italian better than the Ashkenazy version I’ve got.

The Octet just owns in so many ways. I would travel a great many distances just to hear this played live.
