I love Scheherazade so much. I’d say my favourite rec is Svetlanov on BBC, followed by Reiner, Kondrashin, Beecham, Kempe and Ormandy. Spano’s rec is great too.
randomly have you guys seen the “arabian nights” tv movie? its low budget and corny, with plenty of bad acting, but its well written and has loads of soul, and is really fun to watch. highly recommended.
