Man, first two lines and I thought: here’s finally a sensible message from da trumofo! And then you screw things up at the end of it anyway. :tm:

Well. What can I say.

Liszt all the way baby!
The old school playaz own Chopin anyway, they make u forget da compositional faults.

With Liszt, I have yet to find a piece which is an inherently weak composition.
I’m really into da YOP.

I wish the was a YOP book 4: Tokyo 8)

I find his Weinachtsbaum a bit meh if I’m honest… Feels like something he wrote when he needed some money for cognac.

I luv da Evening Bellz, Polnisch and Jadis from dat.

OK, but Adeste Fideles and In Dulci Jubilo??

Whut, u expect da Shepherds to be singing a 12 tone tune? 8)

I like it for what it is.

Chop ball4 overrated? Yeah so when can we talk ban again?

I forgot who typed it on the last page (I’m on mobile) but I agree that it might just be the best solo piano work ever written.

It’s the only one of the set I didn’t play.

ahahahaha if dere wuz

i predickt an inztant revizion from da PIMP, movin da ORAGE to da Tokyo book n re-namin it

Marie D’agoult n da Octopuzz 8)

This Chopin diss wtf

This Chopin diss wtf

Just an opinion.

Or da Tokyo Fish Market 8)

One I actually share, although I don’t generally have a problem with Chopin’s handling of larger forms. The fourth ballade has just never done much for me.

The Moiseiwitsch rec makes moi forget my reservations.

Plus there is a crazy Horowitz 1948 live rec:

In a way agreed… but try this:

Mikhail - which rec got you hooked on bells/polnisch/jadis?

The most crazy one is obviously the Josef Hofmann live one…
