The first one has a motive from a Liszt piece that I can’t name right now.
Does it? If so it’s completely unconscious. I always felt it was influenced by da 
Diablotins from his Esquisses.
It’s the Liszt Niobe fantasy. But now that I’m listening to it, there’s only a faint resemblance.
