1955 was one of the best yrs, along with the first comp. I read somewhere that Horowitz would’ve been sent if he was still in russia. imagine what a line up that would’ve been!
randomly Haven’t heard any of Harasiewicz’s performances from the comp but Ash was great imo esp the f minor concerto and the chopin etudes he played. Just beautiful.
