Nevah thought that even before I had senses. I don’t believe anyone here plays for future $$, that is not really a musician like thing. If so they woudn’t be trading recs and zheeyat, they’d be following the path. Besides, $$ is NOT everything and will not make you happy, it will just reduce the stress of not having money and change it to a different stress, which is of course not as bad. But then your whole life will be placed in front of you to examine since you don’t have to obsess about money anymore, then you can have new stress of how fucked up your life is (and was). I’m sure everyone here will continue to play after they make money in their respective fields because it is highly addictive, playing for an audience and doing well is an addiiction you guys know. But giving up da 88 to focus your efforts on da $$, unless you have a family to feed like Milphy is
