Speaking of hardcore pianism, I can really enjoy Pogo’s Scarbo.
Also that vid that da mart posted of this guy playing Scarbo and the liszt pagvars was also very impressive. (Does anybody still have this btw? lost it with my hd…)
Francois’ and Gieseking’s Scarbos are my favourite listen though. I believe iam posted a rec by Simon a while ago, pretty amazing as well actually. And Babayan’s from the QEW is sweet.

Personally my favorite is Fiorentino’s overall, very polished. But the Pogo scarbo is just out of this world! It’s not even about the Scarbo anymore. That’s satanic pianism.
