Out of curiosity, what is your “profession?” Like, at one point, I was a public accountant. Someone else is a social worker, a lawyer, a stock broker, etc.

Right now I think technically it’s non profit sector and I’m essentially in strategic partnerships and “content” which is a nice way of saying think tank stuff.

Titles don’t really make sense at these BS jobs. Most non-support people are “leads” and I’ve yet to be told what that means. Mostly they just throw you at what they think you can make meaningful progress on.
The org structure is pretty loose. It’s actually pretty chaotic IMHO but without that style they couldn’t change things up as quickly as needed or spin up new initiatives to tackle shit going wrong due to tech oligarchs being given the keys to the world by various gov puppets looking for their cash. This place surprisingly above that due to flat rate funding. A small company that can afford it pays as much as a giant oligarch led one to participate in the work.
That last bit is why oligarchs run psy-ops against the place. It’s actually the least crooked in a structural way and as a result a lot of the various initiative’s findings and guidance pisses them off.
