Dunno quite what though. I used to mess around with the Rosenthal minute waltz parasheeyat which is a kinda wikid mofo, maybe that was in my mind.

I wrote this over 15 years ago! Hard to remember. I’ve a feeling the thalburglah ztylee zect is originally improv and pozz da zifftrib coda also. The rest, I don’t recall, but I do have a written out score somewhere. A lot of my compos are “revised impro” form, especially parasheeyats (impro, impro repeatedly on the impro, select best bits, paste together).

Yeah writing out impro takes ages, partly because you’re never going to get it exactly “as played”, too many slight rhythmic deviations. And impro doesn’t tend to be precisely the same if you “repeat” it either. Writing out the ziff stuff must have been virtually impossible.
