Agreed, the way he plays the vlad transcripts is just sad. His transcriptions are just utterly boring. No special harmonization or anything, just fast runs that look good but are only half as hard to actually play. I hate how he makes good pieces to disgusting show pieces. He’s just a showman, period.

Volodos had a phenomenal technique. He is one of those dudes that can play to the balcony sound and projection wise but when you pop on headphones there is alike thousands of tiny details in there to enjoy. Regarding the his transcriptions… If I can find my way through most of one for fun… trust me they aint difficult!!!
