Improvised sonata

I think only from Sib 7 or upwards, my pirate version is 5 :wink:
But, tru, I can imagine it getting very notationally messy in the translation process.

Putting it into musescore then into Sibelius, then running the renotate performance plugin has made it borderline readable but hours of editing still required tbh, in places it looks like the :zif: second volume paraphrases score disaster area, only worse. It might be a good substitute starting step though, at least I won’t need to enter quite so many notes into Sibelius and the simpler passages make some sense. It’s got a fixation with getting clefs wrong though and consequently I’ve got pages with zillions of ledger lines.

Someone told me the very latest version of Sib had better MIDI import, but I’ve not found a p1rate of that yet.

Good luck with your notation project, I’m still in the middle of engraving a bunch of modern sort-of-jazz pieces by a friend, so feel your pain.
