Hamelin fans, does anyone have recording of his performance from Vienna’s Musikverein in 2013? He played two concert in a few days, on March 14 & 17. First half was Bernstein’s Second Symphony after which he played his Paganini Variations, kind of written encore. I was on first concert and recorded it, but few years ago my external HD crashed and I’ve lost a lot of live recordings I made…

And btw. I also agree that this Paganini vars is not his best work but he played that concert very well. I was standing in the end of the hall and could hear clearly every note he played.
