Eric Juvet’s Brahms Variations have some good lyrical moments, but is just owned by the insanity of Brahms variations. I don’t know why he’d choose this. I didn’t like Missimo Dore either.

I expected the quality of playing that I had sen at the Van Cliburn Amateur Competition. I started out by watching Shih, and he’s an incredible player, which made most of the others not even comparable. It also confirmed my initial thoughts about the quality.
However, I was surprised by the high variability of quality in the rest.
Not exactly bad, and a lot of work went in, but it’s just not at all what I expected.
Da Melinda has da fire, drive, and conviction of a tru female representasheeyat of virutosity, not seen since the lyks of Argerich or Lang.
