well, I can understand why people would call this a shitty piece - many do.

I will admit that it’s not gensui like some of Liszt’s other compositions, and can sound somewhat bare/cheap with all the octs, but I don’t give a shit, I still love it and it’s one of my favorites.

I guess it’s just Liszt’s way of showing that storms don’t always have to be written out in huge arpeggio’s or whatever. But true, this is pozz a bit octave-overkill, and the whole repeat doesn’t really help the piece neither.
