The problem with both the last two has been to think of which piece the excerpt comes from. Here I got stuck on one I was sure was by Prokofiev, but it was of course from a colleague of his.

This is good practice btw. I’ve always been bad at “visualizing” how music will sound from the score without a piano, but this trains exactly that. Some I simply recognize visually, others I have to try to imagine how a melody line or similar will sound if played, and if I’m close enough I begin to recognize what I’m imagining. Then comes the really hard part, to try to think of where that passage belongs. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Haha, that 9 and 5 was in zombie mode after a night out. I couldn’t have even placed Für Elise then. I can’t touch da Pomme and da 88 however - I’ve been roughly in Meph territory on the ones I’ve tried.
