To record 48 separate works in one session with minimal editing is COOL.
Played on garbage piano. Bass essentially a diffuse queef, at least on TV speaks.
It’s not the piano, it’s the pianist. Pletnev doesn’t pump bass or loud notes anymore.

Imo the bigger issue there is that small ass studio
Plate’s playing was pretty good around 2000 or so imo but always had some weird interp bs
