There’s a bit of a shit storm coz they’re supposedly mis-reporting that he tried to blame the conductor, walked off and ignored the audience afterwards.
Sounds like he got lost and tried to find his way back in later on.
Only time I’ve heard him live was giving the most boring master class I’ve ever seen. All his comments were along he lines of ‘more crescendo here, this is marked piano’. Walked out after 10 minutes.
