Ok! probably some frequency limitation on the recording gear that made it look upsampled then. You can’t hear anything up there anyway so weird format to start. Insane bit rates are legit tho.

Yeah, I think common practice is just to roll the stuff above nyquist anyway because proportionally even on good gear its just noise (vs true overtones energy wise) and you can’t hear it anyway, THO that noise can fuck up lower harmonics somehow.
