his remarks about the limitations of the human nervous system are not only medically inaccurate but factually wrong, since Vladimir Horowitz, in his 1947 RCA recording of Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody nº 6, plays the octaves - both the right and left hand ones - faster than Martha Argerich (just time the versions if you don’t believe me).
