Bof. I don’t find it to be very progressive. Classical music in a ‘pure’ sense ended for me with Boulez, then you needed to use non standard instrumentation (prepared pianos, 100 metronomes), add looped tracks or experiment with half tonalities (like what Collier does). In fact, I think his music is way more progressive than any recent sheeyat written for da 88.

Edit: Just to clarify, I was talking about Collier’s music at the end there.
