There’s one spot where I hilariously miscounted and end up playing a solo when I shouldn’t have.
Remind me again why I memorized this?

Love it! One of my favourites by Messiaen. Though I think Boulez/Aimard is the definitive recording, this one is still great. Tempi are a bit odd at some parts.
Do you have any other Messiaen?
pozzibly, i took a very free approach in the cadenzas since it’s mildly a written-out improvisation. if i ever play this piece again i might be more strict with it. in the sections where the orch is playing, you basically have to leave that up to the conductor since there’s no room for rubato because everyone’s part is apeshit difficult.
there’s a thread on this page with a vid of me playing some of the regards:

i also have a vid of a quartet for the end of time performance i did recently and will pozzibly upload it.
quite
I don’t know this piece at all, but I will certainly check it out.
Respect
