Right, because I was thinking of starting one for another Russian girl, Maria Khoreva but I probably won’t. Meanwhile, the only music festivals I’ve been to are the drug-fuelled kind. I used to go to a lot of them circa 2010-12. The classical music festivals here are too expensive, and not worth attending. I think after this season (assuming I stay), I’ll have seen all the pianists I’m interested in seeing, except da Doc in recital. However, if he plays a programme like the one he just did at Carnegie I reckon I’d pass.
