I rebuilt the laser turntable platter with the latest learnings from the normal turntable. Plus I had carbon fiber left over. Geometry should be order of magnitude more stable for the laser pickup to make sense of. Curious what it do.

Check this out @Harrison and @festinfurious the right channel had some pressing errors that only just started to creep in by end of band but otherwise it show the full girth of the rebuilt laser beast.

Looking for prime tractor gilf 78s right now.
Combination of LUBE systems I run on LPs got friction way down. Tracking needs on my 2g cart went from 2g to .25 on anti skate.
Iām getting a TON more noise on 78s but itās highly resolved because stick slip is just now mostly a surface read. Music under all that 5 billion times clearer. MYSTERY.
