yeah and realistically, he would have recorded more large scale works every year. HMV had their shit together so there would have been at least one large scale project + smaller works.
By 1935 da Ho was already feeling strained as hell probably from being married, da Chopson 2 project had sessions on: June 2, 4, 6 and March 9, 1935…
only yielded a test pressing of movement 1 which he was not happy with.

his balance was def more “natural” and less “juiced up” den, but also keep in mind somehow da earlier recs better engineered den much of da later stuff.

I juz akz becuz thinking about da lazt 6 minutez of dat pimp zon (before which wuz utterly pristine fo my earz) he go FULL HO , pushing da pace, da dynamics and da octz. Wuznt thos da days of one take btw??
one take per side, pimpson was spread (heh) across 6 sides of 78 rpm recs. He did 2 takes of each and went to fuck twinks. Didn’t fuss with it at all.
