New Richter boxset from Profil contains new materials

Folllowing the two boxes of Beethoven and Schubert, Profil will issue the third volume of its Richter series. This 12CD box features Brahms and Schumann and will be released this coming Friday (in Japan).

I checked the recordings included in this new box and it contains quite a few things previous only circulated as private sources, and there is a Schumann sonata No. 2 which I believe is new to the Richter discography (at least to mine). Here are the ones newly on CD:

Schumann
Piano Sonata No. 2
06.08.1961 Moscow (New?)
Faschingsschwank aus Wien
06.01.1962 Vienna (PTA)
Waldszenen
03.01.1955 Moscow (PTA)
Bunte Blatter
10.14.1954 Leningrad (PTA)
Widmung, In der Fremde, Dichterliebe
03.01.1955 Moscow, with Dorliac (PTA)

Brahms
Piano Pieces, op. 118 No. 1, 3, 5
02.09.1955 Moscow (PTA)
Intermezzo op. 119 No. 1-3
03.01.1959 Leningrad (PTA)
Cello Sonata No. 1 and 2
06.06.1957 Leningrad, with Rostropovich (PTA)

Can someone confirm me whether this Schumann sonata from Jun. 8, 1961 is a new discovery?

It’s not -->

Ahh, somehow I jumped this when checking SMC’s discography. Anyway, still a good set to get at bargain price and to get a few things published officially for the first time.
