I heard his Hammerklavier a week or 2 ago. I didn’t like it honestly
I listened to this recording while it was still up… but I can’t even remember whether I liked it or not.
It was well polished with amazing trills but the sound sucked… I wouldn’t lay awake at night missing it.
He also took middle of the road tempos… The fugue when well performed reminds me of white water rafting… the sf trills being when you hit rocks!
