Sudbin is outstanding in the Medtner concerti also.
His Scriabin is great too.

When I subsequently pursued piano professionally, I quickly realised that ALL concerti are empty calories for a typical pro pianist. No point spending months learning some sheeyat you’re only going get to play with an orchestra once or twice (if you’re lucky).
True, these concerti are learned more for recordings than actual concerts!
In a better world we’d hear more of these, but unless orchestras want to play them more, they’re not worrh learning.
Overrated is hard actually. I agree with thracozaag above that a lot of them are simply overplayed. Can’t think of any right now.

I never got into the Busoni apart from the italia section, same with most of his solo music.

I really like Busoni’s Toccata too. Still haven’t taken the time to properly digest the fantasia contrappuntistica, and I’m largely ignorant of the rest of his solo works apart from the Carmen paraphrase.
His Chopin variations grabbed me though, helped partly by the wikid theme
He was an extraordinary composer, it’s only now I’m beginning to realize that, but like Medtner he’s rather inaccessible, and a lot of his works are also sort of bar out for me in that they’ve got good ideas which aren’t developed particularly memorably. Like a critic wrote at some point he was always chasing that magnum opus, but never quite got there (except in the concerto, which really is it if I can decide).
That said his Fantasia nach JS Bach is heavenly, and there are some worthwhile things among his Klavierübung etc too (aside from the Carmen, Turandot, etc). Many of his larger works like the Fantasia Contrappuntistica however have remained the impenetrable monster his PC used to be. Some day, I suppose.
Tru, that was stunning playing from da Shishkebab. If in an Argerichian vein - 30 seconds after the finishline and I’ve already forgotten all about it, except that it was impressive!
