Did you put reverb on this recording?
The only critisizm I would have is possible overpedalling (but that may be added reverb or something)

thanks for listening. no, i didnt put reverb on it. it was recorded in a small recital room at the place im studying at on a yamaha full size grand (not sure what the specific name is). they have a steinway in the room too, but it was locked up. this is still a really nice piano but i prefer the Steinway. i recorded it with a mini-disc player and a small sony microphone.
you are correct about my pedalling. i played this in masterclass recently and i was made aware of this. im gonna put the piece away for a bit because ive lost my sense of excitement and music for the piece. around the time when i recorded this, i used to get lots of exciting images in my head and stuff but im not feeling it any more. i think i have just overplayed it.
thanks again for listening. what do you think of the tempo? i can play it faster, but that was my favourite tempo for playing. i dont know if it get’s boring for the listener though.
I thought that the tempo definitely works, although personally I prefer a slightly faster tempo.
Really, it’s all subjective. Your tempo was more accurate to the original marking than mine was.
