[REQ] Stefan Irmer - Rossini piano works

Been years since I heard these charming little pieces.
It would make me happy if someone has this collection and is willing to share.

I think they are on daTube. Or most of them are.
Doing mostly Rossini gala thingy in a few months for his anniversary and was looking for piano works to play. Ended up going with the Petit Cuntprice (again) coz da rest are too long and not as immediately appealing.
They also want me to play the William Tell galop ( :pimp: ) so with that and erlking, my wrists are gonna be fucked!

Do the Liszt la danza man, embrace your Italian roots!

Fuck that, I got enough to learn! The galop actually isn’t as horrendously difficult as I imagined. I think the ‘morning’ section looks the hardest.

They used to be on youtube but I can’t find them there anymore :frowning:

I’ll post them tonight.

Rossini 8 Volumes [FLAC, 1.8 GB]

The recording of the same works by Alessandro Marangoni (Naxos) are pretty good too.

Thanks a million, Chris!

Man, I don’t know how you do it, but you seem to have just about every recording there is.

True, though in this case I’m just good at Google

Seriously? I though I had mad google fu skillz, but my search turned up nothing. What was your query?

I just searched “Irmer complete Rossini FLAC”

For me, the first result was: ployvaultcat.blogspot.com/2012/10/gioacchino-antonio-rossini-piano-works.html

From there I followed the link to intoclassics.net/news/2012-06-30-28849

and then I found the files here: cloud.mail.ru/public/3c50bacfe0d7/RossPianIrmer

ahahaha da fucked mail.ru

Hah, who woulda thunk?
