Someone can rec Hamelin concert on BBC 3 tomorrow 1 p.m?
It’s Chestenham concert with Haydn, Weissenberg and Schubert.
Maybe Tomplik (a member) will do it?
of course I’ll be recording it. lol. I wouldn’t miss a hamelin recital…!
It’s Cheltenham Festival. I was there and he didn’t play any encores. Neither did he play any last year at the festival. 
It’s the third time I’ve heard D.960 this year (the others being barry douglas and brendel). I’ll have to wait and hear it again to confirm, but I thought I heard a rather large memory slip in the Schubert final movement. As in, “omg please don’t let this mess up the rest of the piece” style, but it could have just been me hearing things! The Weissenberg was phenominal though, and so was the Haydn (he plays it much louder and with much more dynamic contrast than I expected!)
As a matter of interest, and don’t take it the wrong way, did you register just to request this?
