AFAIK he was mostly a prof at the Moscow Conserv but was respected all round - da Prik signed over some R&J to him. Funnily enough I was collecting his stuff earlier this evening. No progs unfortunately.
Selivokhin still has a following among collectors. He recorded a lot more for Melodiya than what’s on YT (I think someone uploaded it to another music site tho).
6 minutes in and Selivokhin has my attention so far. A bit stiff, but what a rockstar.
