I’m ashamed to admit that I don’t have very many ho rec’s in my collection (although I’ve heard many of them). If one were going to set out to get his complete output on cd where would one start?

  1. RCA’s “vladimir horowitz collection” (amazon’s missing many of these…)
  2. Columbia/Sony Masterworks 13 cd set… ( what about the recently released “original jacket collection” ?)
  3. Deutsch Gramaphone recordings (6 cd set?)
  4. various smaller labels… pirated/ older performaces…

I don’t have many :ho: recs either, but I would personally get his earlier recordings to begin with, some are on naxos.
