Horowitz, Kapell, Hofmann, Weissenberg, Sultanov

And actually, I’ve quite enjoyed Hamelin too lately, but only when I feel like it.

In no particular order, my 10 faves are: Richter, Gilels, Horowitz, Rubinstein, Arrau, Solomon, E. Fischer, A. Fischer (yeah, I have learned to love Annie after listening to those great ULs!), Schnabel and Cliburn (simply because of his gorgeous sound).

yeah, he’s great, although frustrating at times
I’d kill for Rosenthal recordings from his prime, the mazurkas notwithstanding I’ve always been kinda disappointed with his recordings.
